This is my first year teaching for Paris ISD and at Paris Jr. High. I am very excited to work with the students here and to be in Texas. Ever since I was a kindergartener I wanted to be an art teacher, so yes this is my dream job.
I have worked for counties in Las Vegas, Portland, and areas of Idaho. From substitute teaching, working in Special Education, and interpreting for the deaf.
Art is my passion and I love to see students grow in their own art forms.
I love music, reading, dancing, and anything crafty. I grew up in Las Vegas and attended 6th – 12th grades at magnet schools (public schools that you have to audition to go to and have a high GPA). At these schools I was a dance major. 15 years of dance in ballet, jazz, and anything they threw my way.
