I graduated from Paris High School in 1978. I attended college at PJC, Baylor and East Texas State University. I graduated in 1982 with a B.S in Earth Science and a minor in Biology. I also have completed graduate work in Physics at Texas A&M, Commerce.
I was chosen to attend the McDonald observatory teacher workshop on 3 different occasions.
I was chosen attend the NASA Aerospace Scholars institute in Houston.
Additionally I have attended workshops such as NASA STEM training at Texas Tech.
I am a certified science teacher mentor and am G/T certified.
This is my 26th year to teach Science. I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th grade and high school freshmen. I will be teaching 8th grade science and ACC science.
I have been married for 35 for years. I have two grown sons and two new puppies.My oldest son is a Spanish teacher at Paris High School and coaches volleyball and soccer. We have 2 mini Austalian puppies
I run approximately 40 miles a month and enjoy working in my yard.
