Reading Intervention Teacher
This is my fourth year at Paris Junior High, but it is my 6th year with PISD altogher. I am the 7th grade Reading Intervention teacher, and I am thrilled to begin this new journey with your kiddos.
Previous to realizing PJH is where I’m meant to be, I was blessed to work at the Justiss Elementary campus for 2 years as a first grade teacher. Prior to that, I worked for a preschool in Howe, Texas as the Junior Kindergarten teacher, and was also a nanny/personal assistant to a wonderful family for several years.
Outside of my classroom kids (who always hold part of my heart), I am blessed with an 8 year old stepson, whom I love like crazy, and many nieces and nephews. My family is my biggest support system and my reason why behind everything I do.
I moved to Paris with my boyfriend 5 years ago, and am just absolutely enjoying life. When I’m not teaching (or thinking about teaching), we love to spend as much time as possible on the lake fishing. It becomes a relaxing, mini getaway; which we all need from time to time. Aside from fishing, we love to spend time with our family going to concerts, the kids’ sporting events, camping, cookouts, and just chilling on the couch with a good movie.
