I am beginning my 28^th year of teaching. I have 6 years of experience with Paris ISD in teaching 8^th grade U.S. History. I did leave the district to be closer to home with my children. I experience the world of elementary education during my time away from PJH. I am estatic to be back home with PJH and 8^th grade U.S. History.

I have been blessed to experience a few district and leader from my peers. I began my educational career with a year long studenting program through college at North Lamar ISD- Stone Middle School. I began teaching at Edgewood ISD. I loved that district and my co-workers, but desired to return to the Paris area. I spent a year at Campbell ISD, North Lamar ISD, Cooper ISD, and North Hopkins ISD. I have taught 2^nd grade, 3^rd grade, 5^th grade, 6^th grade, 7^th grade, and 8^th grade. I have coached volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country.
